You can borrow it any time bro ADDED 22 March: I used the MP44 for the first time in a game today. Excellent range and accuracy is not too bad using .25's. It had no problems doing battle against AK's and M4's. All kills were at long and medium range. I had no problems with the weight, balance seems accepable. However, the banana Mag is quite long so using it in a prone position is difficult. Overall I am very happy with the MP44 as a game gun. It is not a wall hanger, the MP44 will for sure see battle again.

UPDATE: Second game gave me atlest 6 kills at good range. It has become a feared AEG on the field of play. Although I carry two AGM spare mags, I find a single high cap is enough. I still want to replace the inner barrel with a tighter bore and will write about that replacement soon with a chrono test.

Hi, I'm a collector trying to follow your delightful guide to get an affordable and playable mp44.
Please excuse me being a newbie at modelling, could you please point out the color codes used in the weathering part and where to buy them?
If Im not mistaken, the handle grip is replaced as well? coz it looks to have changed from a horizontally striped one to diagonally striped one.
Thank you in advance.

not sure about the color codes but the Testor's is just Spray-n-buff "Gunmetal. the grip is painted using a tamiya matte red brown with black wash. Nothing special

Got mine yesterday, must be a newer model, neoprene in the battery compartment, no battery wobble, stock pull pin with spring end, 385 +/-4 fps with 0.25, clear plastic hopup, took her to a game and she shoots straight, fast and acurate like a demon, came in plain brown box, no markings on box or gun
