My new baby... Lately I seem to be a sucker for the all wood & steel combination and have my eye on this gun for a long time. Den Trinity answered the call for $3200. Out of the box using HC134 gas it fires at about 415 fps. With TOP gas it exceeds 500 fps. This is a very cool and realistic 6mm bb rifle.
I choose the Tanaka version over the Marushin because it is more game friendly and the reviews elsewhere on the net have been very positive. No scope is available at this time as it is out of production for the Tanaka but I did pick up a sling and extra 10 round magazine.
I've had the kar98 pouches for quite some time so I'm ready to snipe away... There is a tight barrel upgrade and o-ring set currently available. Maybe I'll get that too but for now this rifle is very good as is. The bolt action is very smooth.
This rifle rounds out my German gun collection, complimenting the P-38, MP44 and MP40's. My Kar 98 Bayonet fits on this rifle too...watch out you zombies.
